Curve ahead design is an innovative interdisciplinary design firm based in los angeles california. we specialize in the full range of capabilities that develop ideas into innovative solutions for contract and residential furniture , lighting and consumer products. Curve ahead’s clients/partners include Disney-Bruckheimer films, Sami Hayek Studio , HOK product design,  Dellarobbia USA, among others. founded and directed by product designer Javier palomares.

Javier was born in Bogota, Colombia. He has a degree in Industrial Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana '97, and a BS in product design with honors from Art Center College of Design '03.

Javier’s designs have been displayed at the High Point Market, Bernhardt Design at ICFF, Javits Center, and the Dwell in Design show, Los Angeles.

In June '15 Javier's design won Gold in the conference table category at the NEOCON show in Chicago.

Beyond his professional practice Javier also teaches in the Grad Id and Environmental Design departments at the Art Center college of Design in Pasadena, California. Javier also has been part of the Design Matters program, an educational platform for social Innovation at Art Center.

He currently lives and works in Pasadena, CA.
